Cole Cameron was raised in the Southwestern United States on his family ranches, cowboying in Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas. As Cole grew older, he began to balance his love for sports and horsemanship. He pursued football in his teenage years and followed this dream through his college career at Texas A&M. However, he never gave up on his love for the horse. Upon finishing his college football career, Cole pursued his Masters in Agriculture Science at Texas A&M and joined the rodeo team. He competed actively in steer wrestling and team roping, and eventually went on to earn a scholarship and a spot at the College National Finals in Casper, Wyoming for two consecutive years. Cole then went on to compete in the PRCA. He gave up rodeo early to pursue horse training. Cole began working with his dad and found a strong love for horses and horse training. He spent many days on a turnback horse for his mom, and many hours watching his dad start colts. Starting in 2014 he worked with Al Dunning and Jade Keller at Almosta Ranch in Arizona, learning to train and ride cutting horses. In 2016 Cole went on to work with Mike Beers where he studied the craft of training team roping horses. Toward the end of that year, he returned home to join his dad and work under him. Cole considers himself a student of the horse. He competes regularly in team roping and cutting, and has been very successful. He travels thousands of miles every year with his dad, Craig Cameron, and regularly teaches lessons and is developing a reputation as a horseman in his own right.
